Have a question about TeleTherapy? 

We are on your TEAM and happy to answer any question you might have. 

Will my insurance cover TeleTherapy?

Please call your insurance provider to inquire. 

What supplies are needed?

A board game, baby doll, or paper and pencils are examples of items you many be asked to gather from around the home.

Do we have to be at home?

We do ask that you think about creating a focused learning environment. However, the location is up to you. 

Do I have enough bandwidth?

Either the therapist or caregiver can discontinue the session if it is felt that the videoconferencing connections are not adequate. 

Can the parents ask questions during TeleTherapy?

Yes! We love questions. Just like at our clinics, we encourage parents to ask questions related to carrying over therapy to everyday life.

Parent and caregiver support are critical to TeleTherapy success.

My family is experiencing financial hardship right now. Are there any hardship supports available?

Yes! Our Family Support TEAM is available to discuss options with you. Please contact us.

Are TeleTherapy copays similar to copays made for visits at the clinic?

Yes, copays are payments made, typically at the time of service, which are required by certain insurance providers and funding sources.

Can I pay my copay electronically?

Yes, our easy billing options include an online payment portal. Payments can also be made over the phone or through the mail.

I don’t want the hassle of paying at the time of service, can I pay in advance for the whole week or the whole month?

Yes, you can pre-pay at any time. We can also keep your card on file and run monthly (on the 10th) prior to statements being mailed. Or, we can run it the 1st and 15th of the month for the prior 2 weeks. You will only be charged for sessions your child attended.

Are copays always required?

It depends on your insurance/funding provider. Some require it and others don’t. For example, the copay for AR Kids B beneficiaries for a 30 minute TeleTherapy session is $5.00.  Contact your insurance or funding source directly to inquire. Or contact us, we’re here to help.

How do I find out what my copay is?

To find out what your responsibilities are, please give your insurance provider or funding source a call. We are also here to help, so if you need more answers, please contact us.

Should I wait for an invoice before paying my copay?

No, please don’t wait for an invoice. Copays are intended to be paid at the time of service. Your payments will be reflected on your billing statement.

Can I use my health savings account to pay my copay?

Yes, if you have a health savings account, you can certainly pay that way as therapy is a medical expense.
