Pediatric and Adolescent Speech-Language Pathologist

Angela Kremers holds a Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Arkansas. She initially joined the Children’s Therapy TEAM family in 2020 as a graduate student intern before beginning her professional career as a licensed therapist.

With a keen clinical interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Angela has received training in Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP). Under the supervision of Children’s Therapy TEAM’s AAC Program Director, Lindsey Lobdell, CCC-SLP, Angela further honed her AAC methodology.

Angela also draws on her past pediatric work and educational experiences. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), she implemented ABA interventions to improve communication skills, develop appropriate social skills, and enhance children’s ability to perform daily living skills with increased independence. Additionally, Angela worked under the supervision of Rachel Glade, Ph.D., at the University of Arkansas Speech and Hearing Clinic to provide evidence-based aural rehabilitation interventions.

Outside of devoting time to her profession and serving patients, Angela enjoys crafting, building furniture, and spending time outdoors in our beautiful state.
