“My husband Rob and I are very excited about an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Siloam Springs, where we have lived for nearly twenty years, especially since it’s Children’s Therapy TEAM! When my daughter Sarah was diagnosed with spina bifida before her birth, our insurance case manager told us we might have a hard time finding quality therapists with experience with children.

We were thrilled to discover Children’s Therapy TEAM, who specializes in pediatric therapy. For the past nine years, we’ve been we’ve been driving to Fayetteville one or twice a week twice a week for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/feeding therapy. TEAM therapists are well trained, and they care about kids and families.

In addition to providing effective therapy, they help us acquire necessary equipment and point us to community resources. When Sarah was in the hospital recently, they sent her an encouraging note and a gift. Even sitting in the waiting room, I am encouraged that I’m not walking this journey alone as I interact with other families.

Since it’s a large clinic, therapists have others they can learn from, and the therapists have many opportunities for continuing ed. In addition, through TEAMWorks, TEAM therapists impact the lives of children around the world. In fact, a group from TEAM took Sarah’s outgrown wheelchair to Guatemala and gave it to a little girl with spina bifida.
