Seeing her work as a Speech-Language Pathologist as a central part of her mission in life, Morgan Oswald shares, “The Lord has instilled in me a love and passion for His children. It brings me great joy and honor to be a small part in a child’s life!” In preparing for her professional work as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Morgan earned a Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University before joining the TEAM Family in 2016. She double majored at Arizona State University in Speech and Hearing Science and Family and Human Development (2010-2014). Throughout her studies, Morgan benefited from extensive internship experiences. She served as a Speech-Language Pathology Intern at the Getz School, a school for children with developmental delays, in Tempe Arizona in 2013. While serving as an intern at the Missouri State Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, she regularly participated in team conferences with medical staff, physical therapists and occupational therapists (2014-2015). In Northwest Arkansas, Morgan completed a Speech-Language Pathology internship at Central Park Elementary School in Bentonville, AR, where she evaluated, diagnosed, and treated children exhibiting speech, language and communication disorders related to diagnoses such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism. Morgan enjoys being around friends and family, spending time in the community (and particularly volunteering as a Miracle League coach), being outside, hiking, camping, running, golfing, going to the lake and going to concerts.
