Amy Lane joined Children’s TEAM in 2023 and is a licensed physical therapist. She holds a Master of Science in physical therapy and a Bachelor of Science in allied health, both from the University of Central Arkansas. Amy also has a Bachelor of Science in art from Hillsdale College. 

Amy loves being around children and enjoys helping young people grow. She has always been avidly involved in the community in various roles involving serving individuals with disabilities. She draws on a diverse background of experiences including being a home educator for her sons for 9 years. She also served as a co-op instructor for art and pre-K writing and has taught private/group drawing lessons off and on since graduate school.  

As a therapist, Amy has been inspired by both her mother and father. Her mother worked as a physical therapist before homeschooling Amy and her siblings through high school. Amy describes her mother as someone tenacious and always learning. Her father has always been an example of humility and kindness, teaching her how to work hard, have fun, and love beautiful things. She reflects that together, they taught her through example, how to love God and others.

When Amy is not at work, she enjoys drawing, painting, gardening, hiking, and reading. She loves spending time with her husband, three (almost) grown sons, and their toy poodle, Roux.
