Katie Shepherd holds a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. In addition to Katie’s wealth of fieldwork experiences in graduate school, she has also been a dedicated volunteer with nonprofit programs supporting individuals with special needs.

As a TEAM Talent Volunteer in 2014, Katie worked with Children’s Therapy TEAM OT Whitney Garrison to help with an art program for children with special needs. She cherished what she calls an unforgettable and rewarding experience.

When Katie Shepherd joined the Children’s Therapy TEAM family in 2017 as a licensed occupational therapist, she described the opportunity as her dream job. Katie enjoys connecting with families and sharing her infectious enthusiasm with the children she serves, as well as working alongside therapists with the same passion as her. She loves being her kids' biggest fan and number one supporter.
