Amy Smith, MCD, CCC-SLP

Not every career provides an opportunity to work with one’s heroes on a day to day basis, but for Amy Smith serving as speech-language pathologist provides such an opportunity. Amy fondly shares, “Children with special needs and their parents are my heroes!”

Amy received her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas and joined the TEAM family in 2006. Amy serves as a TEAM Lead Therapist and Mentor Therapist.

In addition to Amy’s work with children in Northwest Arkansas, she has international experience with assessment and treatment of children with special needs in Ukraine and China through TEAMworks International Outreach.

Amy enjoys time with her family and friends, reading, baking, and traveling.

Amy has received additional training in PECS, introduction to Early Start Denver Model, LAMP, and Beckman Oral Motor Protocol among others.
