Paige Funkhouser, MS, CCC-SLP

Paige celebrated her 10th year of service at Children’s Therapy TEAM in 2018. She holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas. In the field of Speech Language Pathology Paige has a keen interest in treatment incorporating use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.

In addition to serving children in Northwest Arkansas, Paige has international treatment experience working with children as a TEAMworks therapist in Guatemala and China. She shares, “I volunteer a lot with TEAMworks because it is an organization that truly and deeply cares for each life of a child with disability, especially orphans. Being able to advocate for children and help them find forever families is an incredibly rewarding experience.”

When not working Paige enjoys spending time with her husband Stephen and their two children. She also enjoys running and being outdoors.

Paige is certified in PECS (Level 1) and has received Beckman Oral Motor Training. She has served as a guest lecturer on early language development at the Universidad Del Valle Guatemala (2013, 2014).
