Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Student Coordinator, CI Mobility Program Coordinator

With over 20 years of pediatric experience, Julie Marvin has provided therapy in a vast array of settings such as schools, preschools and clinics throughout Northwest Arkansas. She has also provided care in international settings such as Guatemala and China as a TEAMworks Therapist.

Julie Marvin serves as the Coordinator of Children’s Therapy TEAM’s CI Mobility Program and regularly oversees summer mobility camps for children diagnosed with Hemiplegia. She also regularly supervises graduate student clinicians and serves as a mentor to novice therapists.

Having initially received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2000, Julie has continued to expand her repertoire of specialized skills. Her assessment competencies include the Test of Infant Motor Performance (TIMP) and self-help, visual perceptual, fine motor and sensory processing tests.

Julie enjoys caring for a wide variety of ages and diagnoses with a keen interest in serving children with neurological impairments. She is a dedicated wife and mother of three children, Anna Claire, Trey and Gracie. She serves as a strong advocate for adoption and for serving children with special needs through her volunteerism with the TEAMworks Nonprofit.

Areas of Advanced Training: Kinesotaping Methods; Interactive Metronome; Constraint Induced Therapy; Food Chaining for picky eaters; Wilbarger Protocol; Sensory and Behavioral Coursework.
