Hayley Franklin, M.C.D., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Many young people struggle with honing in on their career path before and also during college. This was not the case with Hayley Franklin. As a senior in high school, Hayley decided she wanted to become a pediatric therapist after her cousin was born prematurely. The rest, as they say, is history!

Hayley went on to earn a Masters in Communication Disorders from Arkansas State University (2012). She joined Children’sTherapy TEAM in 2016 and is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association Special Interest Group for Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders.

Hayley is not a stranger to Northwest Arkansas. She completed her B.S. in Education while minoring in Psychology and Human Development at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2011. She liked the region so much that she committed herself to returning to Northwest Arkansas when she began her post-graduate professional work.

Prior to joining the Children’s Therapy TEAM family, Hayley worked for three years at the Elizabeth Richardson Center. There she served children from birth to five years old while also trained staff on dysphagia precautions and speech-language compensation strategies.

Hayley has received additional continuing education in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, Pediatric Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies, Pediatric Swallowing and Feeding, Problem Solving Treatment Process for Oral Motor, Sensory, and Behavioral Feeding Disorders, Picture Exchange Communication System (P.E.C.S.) Advanced Level and training in working with preschoolers who stutter.

When not working, some of Hayley’s favorite pastimes include cheering on the Razorbacks, reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors.
