Children’s Therapy T.E.A.M. has expanded the scope of delivery of orthotic services for children in the region. While Children’s Therapy T.E.A.M. has been a licensed equipment provider in Arkansas for nearly a decade, these services have always been exclusively offered to existing clients of Children’s Therapy T.E.A.M.
While orthotic services will continue to be offered to TEAM families, now any child in the community can access orthotic services through Children’s Therapy T.E.A.M.
Orthotics Program Coordinator Christina Ruby, a board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy, notes, “The goal of our orthotics program is to provide each child with an individualized assessment, determining the orthotic best to maximize function and participation in life. We aim to provide this service in a way that is timely and simple for families, in a child-friendly environment.”
The Community Orthotic program offers custom design, fit and fabrication. Certified therapists offer access to state-of-the-art equipment specialized to help children better participate in activities that range from every-day life skills to athletic pursuits.
